Pastor Gerard Samuel

Brother Gerard Samuel has led Scarborough Spoken Word Christian Fellowship with humility and simplicity in his role as Senior Pastor going back to 1989. He has been unwavering in his commitment to serving the congregation and the Gospel, previously pastoring in Trinidad, West Indies having been a minster since 1972. He embodies the steadfast vision of "working until the last seed comes in," as we go on unto perfection.



A true shepherd at heart, Pastor Samuel's leadership extends beyond the pulpit, as he wholeheartedly engages in nurturing and guiding both the spiritual and personal growth of those under his care. His consecrated approach to ministry radiates through his interactions, where compassion and wisdom of a true shepherd are clearly seen.

Bro. Glyn McIntosh

Brother Glyn McIntosh has faithfully served as an Associate Pastor at the church since 2003. Originally from Trinidad, West Indies, brother Glyn is a thoughtful, focused, servant-hearted believer that leads with warmth, candor, simplicity and an authentic down-to-earth personality.

Together with his family, his wife sister Judy and their lovely daughters Priscilla, Aphia and Candace, brother Glyn has been a strong and dependable pillar of the assembly for decades.

A wonderful brother, as well as a gifted singer, brother Glyn, also won't shy away from delivering a message in a song from time to time. We thank God for his life and example.

Bro. Joseph Akomen

Brother Joseph was brought to Canada with a supernatural testimony of God's leadership on his life guiding him out of Nigeria, through Europe to North America. A true evangelist at heart, our brother embodies that burning passion for souls that propels him into constantly seeking souls.

A wonderful servant of the Lord, he has been an Associate Pastor in the assembly for several years and during that time has answered the Lord's call to serve the Bride of the Lord Jesus as a firebrand across Ontario, Quebec, South America, Africa, Madagascar as the Lord opens up the way.
